When I was 15, I practiced a technique called “reality checks” for a month, while I was awake. One day I found myself on top of a tall building; I looked at the palm of my hand and realized it was a dream. I jumped out of the building and flew down, where an amazing view of mountains and rivers awaited me, a sight that I can still see in my mind’s eye, and I believe I will always remember. In this article, I share my experiences and my approach to the world of lucid dreaming.
